Yes. Every Barkday Treats product is handcrafted specifically for dogs using simple, human-grade ingredients. We never use artificial preservatives, and all of our baked treats are gluten free.

All Barkday Treats products are handcrafted in small batches in Ontario, using carefully selected ingredients sourced as locally as possible.
🌾 Are your dog treats gluten free?
Yes. Our cookies, cakes and pupcakes are made with gluten-free ingredients, including organic oat flour.
✨ Do your products contain artificial preservatives?
No. We never use artificial preservatives, artificial colours or artificial flavours in any of our handcrafted baked treats.
💛 Are your treats suitable for dogs with sensitive stomachs?
Many dogs with sensitive stomachs enjoy our treats because they're made with simple ingredients and contain no artificial preservatives. Every dog is different, so if your pup has specific dietary needs or allergies, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list or speaking with your veterinarian before introducing any new treat.

Yes. We create custom dog birthday cakes for birthdays, gotcha days, adoption anniversaries, gender reveal celebrations, and other special occasions. Contact us early to discuss your design ideas and availability.
🧁 What is the difference between Celebration Cakes and Custom Dog Cakes?
Celebration Cakes are our ready-to-order designs, while Custom Dog Cakes are individually designed to match your celebration theme, colours or special request.
📅 How far in advance should I order a dog birthday cake?
We recommend ordering as early as possible, especially during busy seasons. Ordering in advance helps ensure availability and gives us plenty of time to prepare your handcrafted cake.
❄️ Can I freeze my dog's birthday cake?
Yes. Our cakes freeze beautifully. Keep the cake frozen until you're ready to celebrate, then thaw according to the storage instructions provided with your order.
🍪 How should I store Barkday Treats cookies?
Store cookies in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and humidity. For longer storage, they can also be frozen to help maintain freshness.

We ship our shelf-stable cookies and treats across Canada.
Celebration Cakes, Custom Dog Cakes and Pupcakes are available for local pickup or through select retailers across Ontario.

🥜 Do your products contain common allergens?
Some of our products contain ingredients such as peanut butter, dairy, or eggs. While our bakery is gluten-free, products are made in the same facility. If your dog has food sensitivities or allergies, please review each product's ingredient list or contact us before ordering.
🐕 Are your treats suitable for puppies?
Most healthy puppies can enjoy our treats in moderation once they are eating solid food. Because every puppy develops differently, we recommend checking with your veterinarian if you have questions about introducing new foods.
