Our Story

Hello, and welcome to Barkday Treats.

There are many people in my life who have inspired me with the joys of baking, including my parents, grandparents, and a few very special aunts. Family has always been at the heart of everything I do.

In 2022, an adorable little Goldendoodle named Rosie came into my life and stole my heart, making me a proud Granddog Mama. As any good Yiayia, which means grandmother in Greek, I naturally began baking special treats just for her.

But Rosie also had a sensitive stomach, and I quickly realized how difficult it was to find treats that felt special and were made with ingredients I could trust. I wanted meaningful ways to celebrate her on birthdays, holidays, and everyday moments without compromising on quality.

That's when Barkday Treats was born.

Today, Barkday Treats is Canada's Trusted Celebration Bakery for Dogs, creating handcrafted, gluten free treats and cakes that help dog parents celebrate their dogs like family. Every product is made in small batches using thoughtfully selected ingredients because we believe every dog deserves treats that are both special and trustworthy.

Rosie remains our official treat tester and the inspiration behind everything we do.
